Hanso CD Extractor is a program to rip audio CDs and convert audio files.
This application can read the audio tracks on a CD, and save them to your disk, using the WAV, MP3, Ogg Vorbis, FLAC or WMA encoders, among others. You do not need to rip all the files on an audio CD. This way you will be able to build compilations with your favorite songs, that you can later burn into a new audio CD.
The program will allow you to rename the tracks after or before converting them, as well as change the ID3 tag for each song. It can also retrieve the information for the CD you are about to rip from the CDDB servers.
While converting the files, the program will apply jitter correction to normalize the quality and volume level of the generated files. You can also choose the quality you want for your target files manually.
Hanso CD Extractor offers a tool that will let you record sound coming from any analog input, such as you modem or the microphone connected to your computer. It also has a built-in media player.
